I'm just wondering if CompactFlash drives currently being produced now are still subject to the limited number of write cycles (~100,000 I think) or has that been fixed. I run a little bit of BitTorrent and it's probably reducing the hard drive's lifespan (constant accesses). It does have a 5-year warranty on it, so I don't know if I can go with that if it fails quickly. I'm basically going to be using it as a sort of small make-shift hard drive.
Thanks,
