Currency format when export to excel

Hi,

I have a problem with the number format when i export my reports to excel with Reporting Services. I set numbers as currency with the command FormatCurrency() in visual studio, but when i export the report to excel, the numbers are considered as text.

Does anyone have a solution?

Hi,

In Excel enter the value 1 in an empty cell.

Copy that cell

select ALL CELLS on the report sheet

Edit/Paste Special - MULTIPLY.

Thanks for your answer, but i found a way to have the currency format directly in Reporting Services. You just need to clic on your cell, and in the propreties, in the format field, write c2 (2 indicates that you want 2 decimals).
