currency display features on reports

2 questions..

both questions concern displaying currency fields on reports

1.

on my report some of my currency fields have no value.. which means that the default value of that field will be £0.00

my first question is how can i tell the report just to leave a blank space for that currency field if the value is £0.00


2.

is there a way i can make £50.00 display as £50

In the format property of the field:
$ #,##0; ($ #,##0); -
The first setting is for positive number, the second for negative value and the last one for null.
