Has anyone do a currency converter before ?

I need to add this into one of my Apps but not sure how to proceed ?

Any advice welcome !

You could automate Internet Explorer to send parameters to a site like :

The problem with creating a currenry converter that is not tied to the net is you have to find a way to get today's rate exchange.

I assume that your problem is not how to do a currency conversion, but how to get up-to-date exchange rates.

The obvious solution is to use VFP's SOAP features to connect to a web service that will either provide the rate or do the conversion for you. There are many such services available, many of them free.

The VFP Help file (for ver. 7.0 and above) tells you how to use acess web servicees via SOAP. It's really very simple.
