Hi.

We have MS-Office 2000 as published applications on several load balanced metaframe 1.8 servers. Now on some clients the colours (e.g. a soft yellow like in outlook today summer edition) is pink or purple. Do anyone know this problem ? This problem only exists at old pentium I computers with small grafic memory.

Best regards from germany :)

What resolution is the ICA client set to? If it's set greater than the local client can handle, this could cause this.

I hope this helps CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk

Hi CitrixEngineer.

Thanks for fast answer. The local client and the published application is set to 256 colours. It is really strange because i had this problem meanwhile with a Pentium Celeron 466 MHz with good grafic chip. Under Windows NT 4.0 Terminalserver with Metaframe 1.8 we didn't had this problem.

Try turning off hardware acceleration on the client machines. Also, try updating the ICA client software.

I hope this helps CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk
