Definitly moving to Southern California and am curious about the range of rates that are charged there for cabling work. In the part of Louisiana that I'm currently in, the rates range from $50/hr to $75/hr. I'm talking about rates charged to customers, not the rate employees are paid. Thanks for your help, moving to a new area is time consuming enough without having to do the 'call and find out' thing after I get there.

Our installers in CA charge $48 for non-union and $70 for union.

I know it doesn't apply to where you are going but in Kentucky, FYI, the going rate is 100 dollars a drop, not the hour. Which includes termination at the ends and excluding the punch down since they range in price and sometimes are allready in place if its an addition to an existing network.
