CUPS - LPD/lpr

Hello
I recently installed cups but now I want to go back to a normal lpd/lpr type configuration, how do I do this, I cant find anything in the manuals provided by cups??

The simplest thing it seems to be would be to remove the cups package (if using rpm) and installing the LPRng package.

i compiled cups from source, and there is no uninstall script (atleast that i can see) skottieb:)
