Cups Conflicting Options Problem

Hello All,
I have installed cups on a solaris 2.7 system.
I can setup a MDF printer via the web interface, but when I get to configure its options I have highlighted conflicting options at the top of the page.
Is cups not reading the xerox ppd file and therefore doesn't understand the printers capabilities??
