I know it is possible to have a CIPC softphone running alongside CUPC and I can use CUPC to dial using CUPC's dial pad. What I'm having trouble with or at least so far unable to do is have CUPC dial the CIPC softphone using my Outlook Contacts. Yes, the CIPC phone is associated and selected in CUPC.
Has anyone been able to get this working?
The concept is for the enduser to be able to "see" the BLF status of 7 or 8 lines (via CIPC), answer any ringing line & retrieve any held line. All that works OK, but we need to have CUPC to place outbound calls (on the CIPC device) from a very large list of contacts. It works from the CUPS dial pad but not from Outlook contacts.
I does work from Outlook Contacts if we associate CUPS with a physical hard phone.
Any pointers would be appreciated.
