I am summarizing Customer and Ammount grouped by month. I would like to an additional summary on the ammount that is a cumlative of current and previous months. I am tring the running totals but can't get it to work right.

Jan2010
Cust Mthy Cuml
CstA 2300 2300
CstB 1900 1900
CstC 1100 1100

Feb2010
CstA 1500 3800
CstB 1800 3700
CstC 1200 2300

etc...

Any help would be appreciated

In you RT evaluate formula use

RT Current Month

Datefield in MONTHTODATE

RT Previous Month

Datefield in LASTFULLMONTH

Both with reset as never

I do not believe this will work. I'm am looking at YTD as opposed to current and last month.

I have the Monthly summ Ok. The next column would be a cumlative of the current month and the previous month(s)

so..
Jan2010
Cust Mthy Cuml
CstA 5000 5000
CstB 7000 7000
CstC 9000 9000

Feb2010
CstA 1000 6000
CstB 1001 8001
CstC 1002 10002

Mar2010
CstA 100 6100
CstB 200 8201
CstC 300 10302
etc...

Thanks again...

Insert a group on customer and then add a subreport to customer group that is linked on customer and {table.date}. In the subreport, go to report->selection formula->record and change it to read:

{table.customer} = {?pm-table.customer} and
month({table.date}) <= month({?pm-{table.date})

This assumes that your report is always cumulative from January.
