CUE Access from a remote site

Hi All...first post!

Struggling to find an answer and any documentation to set this up.

If I have a remote site with Call Mamager Express, is it possible to use a different remote sites Unity Connection / Unity Express as their Voicemail system? I have a site where the Unity Express modules gone bad and looking at alternative options for redirecting them to a different sites Voicemail system. Is this achievable, easy to configure?

Also, can Unity Express be installed on VMWARE? I know Unity Connection can, not sure about Express.

You can point it to a unity connection on a remote site, but not another unity express.
Unity express can only run on a voice gateway, it does not install on vmware.

Why not replace the failed module and be done? If you have a backup you should be up and running in no time and it is not a very expensive product since you are just replacing CUE and nothing else.
