Hi All,

I'm still a rookie at this call manager thing so I was wondering if you guru's can help me out. I am looking for some clear configuration steps on how to set up inbound calls to the CM. I am using 7.0 with a 2821 gateway set up with MGCP 1 FXO card and a T1/E1 card. what I am looking to clear up is how do I point the DNIS digits to the correct Extension? and how do I assign a FXO line to ring on the attendants phone?

If you set up your Gateway as MGCP, CallManager will handle the delivery of the inbound calls. Assuming you will have a PRI on the T-21 card, you configure in CallManager, how many digits it will use to route the call. For the FXO, in CallManager you tell it what extension to send the call to.

Thanks scm,

I see in cm where i configure the DNIS for the PRI, but under what heading will I need to look for the FXO?

Attendant Dn or something similar. And BTW, CLID was not supported on the 2821 until IOS 12.4.24. I figured I'd say that be before someone said that CLID wasn't supported for FXO's running MGCP.

And I meant T-1 card above not T-21.

Thanks again scm,

I read somewhere about the CLID thing.

so it is just a matter of changing it under Gateway>Endpoint
Port info under attendant DN.

Thanks for your help.
