CUCM - Ext mobility / call fwd Im here or Follow me / hoteling

Hi everyone,

new to Cisco CUCM. we are in process of design for users. I have some q's
I am an old NEC / Avaya tech.

Looking for CUCM feature that is equivalent to call fwd Im here or Follow me / hoteling for internal extensions.

I looked at extension mobility and that is great BUT we are using jabber SP exclusively so it it not supported.

we have a dept. that changes staff weekly sometimes daily and they want to be able to have that person be contacted with the dept line on their shift. They want to live answer then go to vm if not available.

I thought we could use call fwd i'm here / follow me but that feature does not seem to exist in CUCM.

Any thoughts?

I am not familiar with the Avaya feature. How does it work?

Single Number reach may work for you.
You could make the departmental line a hunt group pilot. Then add phone users to a hunt list where they login/logout as needed.
