We have a CUCM 7.1.3.30000-1

Our receptionist currently uses attendant console but we need to upgrade her to win 7. I thought I could download the software from the PBX but its not there. Where can I download this? I've tried Cisco's website but no luck. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Just checked a CUCM7.x
If you go on the CUCM Administration pages to Application -> Plugins.
It is the last one in the list

Thanks. I looked there first but the last item on my list is Cisco Unified CallManager Assistant Console which is seems to be different from Cisco Unified CallManager Attendant Console. I tried to install Cisco Unified CallManager Assistant Console and it didn't work - I think mainly because the PBX is not configured to use it.

Does yours say Attendant or Assistant?

is this a new install or an upgrade? Is the programming of the attendant console available in the web page or is that not visible either?

Whoa this is weird. I checked it first time on a CUCM 7.0
Now just to be sure I went looking for a customer with 7.1
And indeed here is the Attendant Console gone and have only Assistant Console :S

i try and figure out why this is

Found it. They don't support it, but you can use the Attendant console of a CUCM 7.0

-----------------------------------------------------------

If you upgrade from a compatible Cisco CallManager 4.X release or a compatible Cisco Unified Communications Manager 5.X or 6.X release to Cisco Unified Communications Manager Release 7.1(2), you can obtain the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Attendant Console plug-in from the Find and List Plugins window in Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration.

Cisco does not support the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Attendant Console with new installations of Cisco Unified Communications Manager 7.1(2), and the plug-in does not display in the Find and List Plugins window in Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration after new installations. If you reinstall Cisco Unified Communications Manager 7.X on a server after an upgrade to 7.1(2), the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Attendant Console plug-in does not display in Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration on that server after you complete the installation.

If you obtained the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Attendant Console plug-in from the Cisco software download site in Cisco Unified Communications Manager 7.0, you can use that plug-in with Cisco Unified Communications Manager 7.1(2). In this case, Cisco recommends that you save the plug-in to a location on a PC that you will remember.

yeah and it's entirely gone in version 8.X. it is not configurable and customers have to look at alternatives to replace AC.

Thanks to you both
Yes the programming for the attendant console is there, its just not listed under plugins.

It was a new install at the 7.1(2) release. So it sounds like I'm stuck because I don't have a backup of the software and I can't download it from Cisco or the CUCM :(

Awesome! Just downloaded (put it in a safe place btw)and installed. Thank you!
