CUCM 8.5.1 & MGCP PRI Bearer Monitoring

Hello,

I'm having a run of mgcp pri's struggling with isdn l2 registration lately and looking to setup some monitoring that will alert on b channels that are down.

Most of these issues have traced back to the carrier, but I did have a rather large outage recently on a 3945 with 12 pri's on it where none of the b's established after the initial reset.

Anywho, I'm not seeing anything in rtmt relative to bearers, and not sure if the snmp oid's for isdn tei assignments fit the bill or not.

Anyone monitoring b channels out there?

Theres no way to monitor b channels through rtmt. The tool was never intended to replace a network monitoring tool. You can probably achieve that using snmp traps on the voice gateway itself.
It sounds like your network is big enough to justify a network monitoring tool made for IPTEL.
