Is the first time i´m going to work with a CUCM 7.0, I take a course for CUCM. The requirement is to have a Auto Attendant, for incoming calls. Router 3845 will be a dsp farm, Switch 6509 will receive a 8 ports voice E1 and a CUCM 7.0 (publisher and subscriber).

I known that the router 3845 can works as a CUCME and have an application for auto attendant (aa pilot). It´s possible to works with CUCM and CUCME with autoattendant . .??

I will apreciate any comment . . .

Thanks in advance.

You don't mention a voicemail system. Will you be using Unity or Unity Connection? If so, build your AutoAttendant there. Much easier in my opinion.
If not, I see no reason that you couldn't use the CUCME AA. As long as you network them together. As I see it your calls will be coming into the CUCM then be sent to the CUCME AA then be sent back to CUCM for call completion but that's essentially what happens when you use the Unity for the AA so..... it should be fine. BUT I've never tried it.

Sorry . I did not mention the voicemail . . Unity. We have one Router 3845 (dsp farm),one Switch 6509 (voice E1), CUCM 7.0 and Unity.

Can you explain me the process to make the auto attendant in the Unity System.

Thanks for your help . . .

Create a CTI Route Point and put the DN on it that matches your incoming digits from your E1's. CFWD All to VMail. Create a CallHandler, it can be named anything, (AutoAttendant), and put the same DN on it. Then record your Greeting with the 'Press 1 for.....", Press 2 for ....' information, go to the Caller Input link and set the digits to go where you want them to go. One catch is that if you are sending them to a DN, the DN must have a Unity mailbox also so you can select them on the CallerInput page. If you need a secondary Menu, create another CallHandler and send the selection on the CallerInput Page to the secondary CallHandler then repeat the process.
This is a quick explanation. If you need further help, ask here or check on CCO for more detailed instructions. It's not difficult but there can be some challenges depending on you applications.
