CUCM 6.1(1a)

Apparently this has been a known issue in 5.x but was supposed to be fixed going into 6.x..

Setting up a service for Fast dials using the info:

URL:
with parameters <userid> and <pin>

It produces this error:

<?xml version="1.0" ?>
- <CiscoIPPhoneText>
<Title>Cisco PD Error</Title>
<Prompt>PD Error Message</Prompt>
<Text>Error in Authentication</Text>
- <SoftKeyItem>
<Name>Exit</Name>
<URL>SoftKey:Exit</URL>
<Position>1</Position>
</SoftKeyItem>
</CiscoIPPhoneText>

On the phone it just says "PD Error Message"

Anyone ran into this?

Did you ever get a solution to this problem??

Thanks,
Larry

Nope.. Nothing even close yet. I actually still have a TAC case open with Cisco, but it appears they're not going to do anything about the fast dials.

Since (I believe) CUCM 6 the Fast Dials Service (and Personal Addressbook service) are moved to the phones "Directory" button, where the corporate directory, missed calls, etc. also resides.

With this, there's no need anymore to create Phones Services for Fast Dials and Personal Addressbook.

Regards,

Eric
