CUCM 6.1 Second call goes to directly to voicemail

Hi,

We have a CUCM 6.1 and having some intermittent issues with some of the phones. Some of the phones when the user is on a call the second call goes straight to voicemail, there were times that the phone is idle but call will ring twice then goes to voicemail. There are about 10 phones that were having these issues. We had replaced the phones, out the programming and added it again. The number of calls allowed on extensions is set to 4 and the busy trigger is set to 2. I also tried to change the busy trigger to 3 and the issue did not go away.

you could try to add time to "No Answer Ring Duration (seconds)" on the line.

What is the default setting of No Answer Ring Duration ? I don't see anything in that field/box. Also the issue is intermittent, it happens I would say 3 in 10 calls.

i believe the default is driven elsewhere, thats why its blank. i have mine set to 18 on some busier area and 6 for the managers.
 
try checking the call tranfer in Unity and make sure it is set to their extension on standard. i had this set by default to go the greeting, but it would only do this if the call was transfered and it drove me nuts because it seemed like an intermittent issue also.

Default setting is 12 seconds. It is set system wide in Service Parameters> CallManager but as stated above the phone setting over rides the system setting.
