CubeSwap in Cognos 8i

We've got an issue when using Cube swap in cognos 8i. We have quite a lot of cubes, some that are rebuilt every half hour, some every day and others are on-demand throughout the day (when certain data in the DB changes). We build these in a seperate directory to the one where the cubes are published from, but we then need to copy the cube to the folder. This is ok 80% of the time, but when we hit one of those times when someone is using the cube, it fails to copy the new one onto it, even though we re-direct the datasource to the new cube to enable us to overwrite the old cube...

Can anyone help - is there something out there that allows you to swap the cubes easily, even when someone is accessing the data through a report?
