Cube(s) Cannot Be Browsed ... Were Fine!

Morning,

i am having an issue w/Analysis Services(AS) when i try to
browse a cube. it tells me that it is "Unable to display
the cube until it has been processed.(Unable to locate the
cube 'Sales'.) This is the sales cube created in the
tutorial for AS. it was working just great up till last
thursday. Now all the cubes i have built return this error.

i have of course reprocessed the cube(s) many time w/ no
luck. I have reapplied the service packs for SQL2K SP2 and
AS SP2. i have dropped and reinstalled AS and then applied
the SP2 patch. No Luck.

I have even deleted the Sales cube, since it is an
easy "default" cube to create and it still bombs out. When
i process the cube(s), they run without any issues, in
otherwords, they are clean.

Any Ideas ... Please help!

Alright Folk ... ITS FIXED

i tried everything from re-applying the patches for SS2K and Analysis Services(AS) to wiping SS2K and AS totally off my machine and re-installing it all back. NOTHING WORKED!!!

Finally decided as a last ditch effort to apply the latest MDAC 2.7. IT FIXED IT!!!

can anyone tell me some insight as to why this worked??? Thanks
