CTX100 WinAdmin--"failed to connect to ctx"

I'm still new to this, so I need all the help I can get.

We have a Toshiba Stratagy system at our office. The administration software is installed on my PC.

I've used the software for over a year, changing mailbox names, etc.

Today, out of the blue, I get this hateful message "failed to connect to ctx"

When I try to ping the IP address where the CTX server should be, I get no joy.

Need advice! Our vendor is clueless, as usual!

The final solution was to powercycle the phone system, and all was well.
