In XP when i hit COntrol ALT DELETE nothing no longer
comes up on screen?

On my computer, Control-Alt-Delete brings up Task Manager. It is possible to disable Control-Alt-Delete with Group Policy--so you might want to check that out.

there is no iser accounts set up on my machine? i went in there and ensured task man was enabled?
