how do youe step cti on a Ldp 7024LD i have installed the ctu daughter board under the key set,my cpu has the lock key for cti & Ez attendant. Do i require some other software .
1. party, like your with the LDP-7024LD system phone (or any other LDP/LKD phone with the CTIU board).
The phone is equipped with a daughter board (CTIU) and a serial cable (or USB?) is connected from the phone to the PC. The signals from the phone should be interpreted by a PC program from LG-Nortel - called TAPI service provider version 3.1Ce.
Another PC program should then take care of the actual application.
3. party TAPI, where the PBX is equipped with a LANU board that is connected the PC by means of a LAN or just a crossed ethernet cable. The signals from the PBX/LANU should be interpreted by a PC program from LG-Nortel - called TAPI service provider version 3.1Ce.
This PC program will be installed on the TAPI server.
Another PC program should then take care of the actual application. The application PC program is in most cases installed on another PC (client).
In both cases the TAPI/CTI license is needed.
From any LG system phone (keyset) press Tran/Pgm + 78 and you can see the installed license.
CTI Application supporting TAPI 2.1 has license number 2.
If you do not have a license the demo license giving 30 days of trial can be installed.
A small hint.
Try to setup the serial data connection.
This is done in PGM123.
Set the CTI Station Mode to 2 and the CTI Station’s Baud Rate to "2". This will give you 4800 bits/sec, 8 databit , 1 stopbit and no parity.
Use the Hyperterminal PC program to check for TAPI signal.
Use no flow control and now harware signals in your serial data setup.

You need to take this issue with your dealer/importer, also to get the newest version for your marked.
Anyway the PC program should come together with the CTI/TAPI license, so if you have paid for the license, you should also have access to the TAPI PC program.

EZ Phone also needs a licence.
There are two free licenses in the ipLDK-100 delivered to some markeds, but I am not shure if it is the same for your country.
From any LG system phone (keyset) press Tran/Pgm + 78 and you can see the installed licenses.
From any LG system phone (keyset) press Tran/Pgm + 79 and you can see the installed ez phone licenses.
In the display it will be shown as xxx/yyy, where xxx is the number of basic ez phones and the yyy is the number of deluxe ez phones (more facilities).

Demo licenses would help you in this case...
Demo (Trial) licenses work for ez Attendant, TAPI,
ez Phone, QSIG and Networking and IP softphone.

the key is installed but i failling to setup the program i have installed the softawre, its giving some error, i cant register the extension, i am using a ldk 24 now, the ez attndt on the Ldk 100 is working . I have programmed the ip address on pgm125 as well
ez Phone works both on ipLDK-24 and ipLDK-100.
It is easy to get it to work on the "24", but on the ipLDK-100 you need a CTI/TAPI server running together with the ipLDK-100.
This "server" is build-in the ipLDK-24.
