have situation where a user comes in on saturday to answer calls at different desks. so instead of having the person move their phone i setup a CTI route with the saturday numbers for the call center. problem i am running into is i can make the route point but when i try to assign a number i get the error stating shared lines are not allowed. no where in the system do i have this number on another device. my work around was to put the numbers on a phone and ext mob and call agent works as expected. next problem: if the phone is unplugged call agent no longer functions even though i am logged into ext mob as the saturday user.
its waste of a good phone, but if anyone has a better work around or bandaid please post.

Hope this helps.

Can you use Time of Day routing to accomplish this? Put the Saturday Call Center DN in a PT controled by the TOD routing and place it higher in the Gateway_CSS than the normal PT's. Then only during Saturday hours, the calls are delivered to the Sat DN which could be on your EM Device Profile.

well, it's the fact that I cant use a route point, ext mob and call agent. with out the phone with the saturday number plugged in the call agent will not work. you get the message that the device is not working.

Hope this helps.
