For the Siemens OptiSet 500 Advance Desk phone, does any one know how the RELEASE Key is identified for CTI Mapping?

My answer is no, but back in my 9006 days I used to cheat - don't know if that still works... Add a repdial button to a phone and go in to program it from the *menu on the phone*. key in a couple of digits and then hit the release key. In theory the programming of the repdial won't stop until you hit OK (but I can't guarantee the release key won't do the same thing). If you are successful you can go into the PBX and look at what digits are in for that repdial. Some of the popular ones on the old 9006 were C24 I think for transfer, and C18 I think was a pause... We used to have to dial a number and then wait for a tone and enter in a 5-digit code for long distance, and I had a whole raft of speed dials set up for the CEO that had a pause and the code added to the end of the numbers.

Not sure if this info is even slightly useful, but it's worth a shot in the dark!
