Can anyone help with this one ?
Calls in via ISDN2 are able to fire up the database record but SIP calls are not.
CLI is presented to the phones correctly, and TAPI data seems to be showing correctly in Monitor but something is not quite right.
IP500v2 7.0(23) with SIP on LAN2 and data network on LAN1
many thanks

Do a TAPI trace and see what the format is of the received cli on sip, it would not surprise me if it is cli@sip.provider.com instead of only the cli

If it ain't dutch it ain't much

I suspect the SIP header information coming from the provider is wrong. Also, make sure you are on the latest [link ftp://ftp.avaya.com/incoming/Up1cku9/SoftwarePub/7_0GA_Builds/ADMIN/ADMIN7_0_32.exe]rel 7[/url] as 7 had lots of iffy things about it.

Thank you for suggestions - have just fixed it.
Turns out that calls from the SIP trunks look as though they are from extensions, and the software was only looking for calls from lines !
