Anyone know of where I can find information on CTI. I am looking for a solution that will allow employees to call a call off number and have their employee id, date etc collected and put into a database for reporting/payroll purposes

Thanks in advance

I guess we used to have a systsem when when people wanted to call off a day of work they would call a number and hit some kind of attendent that would ask them to enter in their badge number, todays date, paid or unpaid day etc and then store that info in a database. Our accounting people woudl then run a report to see who took a day off and then enter that information into the payroll system...

Well, you can have messaging collect digits, if you have merlin messaging.

It would take a bit of doing to dump that to a data base.

There are/were serveral CTI solutions you could look into that could do something along these lines.

If you want I can send my old list of vendors that used to do CTI Applications.

Let me know...
