Hi,
I have a problem with a report scheduled in Enterprise whereby it outputs in CSV format and is showing duplicate (or multiple) records. The report works fine when I run it in Crystal Reports Designer.
In the report I have all the sections suppressed except for a group header and footer. the group header has all the fields and the footer has a formula for carriage return. The grouping is based on an ID number. I placed all of the fields in the group header and not the details section since there is a one-to-many relationship between the primary and secondary tables and I wanted to avoid showing more than one data record for each ID number. I've used this type of design many times, so the report is set up correctly, and as I said, works perfectly when run from Crystal Designer. For some reason, Crystal Enterprise shows all the records (as if I placed the fields in the Details section and not a group header), but it only does this when I export to CSV format. If I set the format in Enerprise to be Excel, then it works fine ---no dups. Weird.
Has anyone had this problem? Any ideas, suggestions, or help of any kind would be appreciated.
Thanks much.
Greg
