We run several MSSQL DTS packages from an asp webpage which export various data to csv files. Our client has changed security settings on their web servers. Now these DTS packages are unable to export to these CSV files and gives Access is Denied error.

The Folder to which these files are exported to is under a webappliaction and administrator plus webuser has rights on this folder. I know this problem is something to do with the user security settings. Which user is running this package from an asp page or which user is trying to create the file from the DTS package.

The User that is trying to access the folder with the CSV file will be what ever account they are logging into the SQL Server with to attempt to run the DTS package.

I would assume that the account would be the one that the web page is running under, or it's the one that the SQL Server is running under. It could also be the account of the user that is trying to execute the DTS package. It all depends on how the authentication is setup on the web page.
