CSV Export

I'm trying to export a query to a csv file using the transfer text command.
The is created OK but the date column exports as 27 00 33 00 30 00 2F 00 30 00 36 00 2F 00 30 00 32 00 27 00 instead of 30/06/2002.
How can I fix this?

Also I want a column with the letter B to come through with out the "" marks but I still need the "" around other test fields.

It looks like the date is being transferred in binary format rather than ascii.

You might want to check out your settings to see if there is a setting for binary.
