css z-indexing

I'm have a popdown menu with css and I have an area with flash right below it. I need the menu to be on top of the flash, but right now it's behind it. you can see it at
I tried z-index. I didn't know what I was doing, but that didn't seem to work.

The menu pops up behind the flash in all browsers that I've tried except the browser on the Wii. How do I fix this?
 
Add [tt]wmode="transparent"[/tt] as a parameter to your flash. This will make the flash not interfere with the other elements. Read about it here:
