Hi,

Does anyone know if there's a utility or something in VS that will take an existing html file without any CSS and class ID references at all, and generator all the CSS needed?

I have a page that's been in development and I've added style properties to each control individual to see how it would render--now i'm nearly completed and would like to shrink the size of the page by using CSS.

Thanks

If you want to be able to style individual elements, but don't have IDs on them, then, as Jeff says, you will not be able to do so.

You can style types of elements, for example, all image elements, all div elements, etc, but as a group - not individually.

You will need to add IDs if you need to style elements.

Hope this helps,
Dan
