As a apple polisher for all my connected career I recently purchaced a IBM NetVista P4 512Ram w/XP Pro installed. However it will not display css in websites. I tried reverting to 'classic' style but still the same thing. Duh

Perhaps you have an accessibility setting or high-contrast setting that is overwriting any display options your applications may have set. I'd try taking this one up in the Windows XP forum, as I'll bet it isn't just CSS this is affecting.

If it is just CSS, then I doubt it is an "XP pro" issue... more likely an issue with whatever browser you're using. Have you tried a different browser?

Of course, this reply assumes you were actually asking a question!

Thank you it was the easy-read high contrast setting. When chose another option than high contrast black it quit not displaying backgroungs and font commands
