What are all of the attributes you can change in a submit button (ie background-color, ....)?

However, good thing to know is what you can style cross-browser. Check here for an amazing reference.
 
One of your best clues for non-standard items on that particular web site is to look at the bottom of the page where it mentions applicable standards. If it says there isn't one, it's probably an MS-only item.
