CSS and Printing Problem

I have a web page, most of which doesn't use CSS. But I have one portion which is a grid with a plotted point. I use CSS to plot the point. It looks great when displayed in the browser (IE or Netscape), but when I print it, the point prints in the wrong place. It seems that style.top and style.left result in different locations when displayed in the browser and when printed. Does anyone know if this can be controlled or compensated for?

Thanks!
