Just a quickie. I've set the opacity on a links div to be 0.5, but when I add links, they too take on the opacity. I've set the opacity for the actual links to 1.0, but they are still opaque. Is there any easy way to have an opaque div but a non-opaque content, giving the impression of an opaque background?

Unfortunately, this behaviour, quirky as it is, makes sense - and I'm not sure if you can change it.

One way of getting around this would be to have two DIVs, of identical size and positioning. The lower one (underneath) would be the opaque one, and the upper one would be transparent, but have the links on it. This should give the desired result.

Hope this helps,
Dan

It's always the obvious answers that pass you by...thanks, that worked a treat.
