I have little Solaris experience and have had some problems in trying to set up a firewall. Right now I am trying to resolve what a .bash_profile is. I have a .profile but no .bash ... Also I cannot find the .cshrc file in my c shell and could use some help finding this.
Thanks

Basically a .bash_profile is a .bashrc, quite often you'll see it is a link to .bashrc. If you have the csh (echo $SHELL), you can create a file named .cshrc if it is not by default in your homedir. ls -la will tell you.
If you don't know how to edit the file get a copy from the systems default cshrc located in /etc/skel (local.cshrc or cshrc). regards
chenn
