I'm doing web layouts in CS3 for someone else to code. Am I better off generating the final parts in Pshop and Illustr or will InDesign do as good a job in optimizing, etc?
I don't see where the optimizing windows show up, so I wonder if InD-generated files are more clunky? Many of the vector parts were done directly in InD so this will mean re-creating in Illust just to save out again. Trying not to duplicate efforts but also want to provide best quality to my client's in-house IT team.
thnx- carol

You are better off interactively optimizing images outside of InDesign. InDesign CS3 does not have the 'Save for Web' function.
