CS2 to PS7

The slices I create at work on CS2 are not set when the .psd is opened in PS7. Is there a way to save backwards?

..did you have 'maximize compatability' turned on when saving out of CS2?

...this is a setting in the preferences > file handling of CS2, if this is off it may have trouble when opened in other versions of photoshop...
