CS2 Flexible non breaking space?

I am using a non-breaking space between some words in a column of justified text in InDesign CS2. The problem is the non-breaking space appears to be fixed width, and I need it to vary in width according to the line justification. At the moment, the non-breaking often ends up narrower than the other spaces on that line.

Any idea if a flexible width, non-breaking space exists?

Problem solved by applying No Break to a regular space.
