When I try to open TIFF files in Photoshop CS2 (v 9.0) I get the message "The RGB document "xyz" has a file format that does not support embedded color profiles." Obviously TIFF files DO support color profiles, and Bridge happily lists the color profile embedded in the TIFF files I'm trying to open. No problems with JPEG or PSD documents. The TIFF files are uncompressed; they're 35mm slide scans with 8-bit color depth, scanned at 4000 DPI to create files of about 60MB.
I've just upgraded from Photoshop 7 which never had any such problems. Haven't (as yet) discovered any other problems with the installation.

I am running Mac OS X 10.3.9 on a Dual 1GHz Power PC G4 with 1.75GB of RAM

Many thanks.
