CS1000M R4.5 CDR across LAN

We have a CS1000M R4.5 that is connecting to a Buffer box for CDR records. Our Boss wants to look at collecting the CDR records across the network to a PC. Is this possible and how do you make this work.
The System is not currently connected to the network.
 
You could take the easy route and get a serial to telnet adapter - under $100 to connect a TTY to the network - no new PBX hardware needed.
There are also buffer boxes that can connect to the network. This is one of the oldest companies around but it is an example of what has been:
This is a little newer - post 1980 :)
Your buffer box might have a network connection.

I think the best bet is ask the company that makes the CDR software what they would use.
