I'm new to this so I'm not 100% sure on how to do this. We received more licenses today but I'm not sure how to load them onto the switch.

Do I do it through ld 143? Can someone give me step by step instructions on how to do this?

I have the ISM Parameters and at the bottom of the paper it has three keycodes.

Any guidance?

Thanks

If it is a 1000m then you either put the file on a floppy diskette, or if it,s a pp4 then you need to put it on a pcmcia flash adapter. The file needs to be named keycode.kcd, so when you save it, just save it as keycode, and kcd will be added on to it. If you are putting it on the pcmcia card then you need to have a folder on the flash first called keycode, then put the keycode.kcd file into that folder.LD 143 use the KNEW F0 for IOUDC proccesor or KNEW RMD..(i think or FMD) if its on the pcmcia card. Hope this helps a little.

We didn't get any type of file. Everything is just on a sheet of paper?

You need to get it from Nortel or your vendor should send it you on floppy or email... but I think you might have an option 11, now that I read your post more carefully it looks like you might have been given keycodes for a small switch not a 1000M. If it is a 11 then all you need is to go into ld 143 and go to upgrade and upgrade ism parameters, make the changes and then put in the keycodes at the end, sysload should not be needed. This is easy to do, you can always go back a page if you put in the wrong thing.

Sorry you are right. It is an OPT11. So I will just do an upgrade then at ld 143 and hopefully it works.

To run the Upgrade command in LD 143 you also have to be on TTY port 0.
