Are there any card slot limitations installing a RLC card in CS1000E switch? Or any helpful pointers. Thanks in advance.

i guess there is no problem with RLC in 1000E. Nortel says that only boards that needs a clocking signal have to be installed in a MG 1000T: PRI, DECT, ...

None except that SSC in position 0 and Callpilot/Mail in 10.
If you have MISP-cards they must be in cab0.
Only recomedation Nortel says is, Put the trunk-card on the highest loops going downwards, and Linecards in the lowest loops going upwards.
The switch sees the RLC just as a normal digital linecard.

Check NTP 553-3041-120 Communication Server 1000E: Planning and Engineering
and NTP 553-3001-211 Circuit Card: description and Installation
and the RLC NTP, don't have the number here.

CS1000E Media Gateway Chassis doesn't support any trunk board: Nor PRI, or DTI, or MISP, or DMC
Call pilot can be installed in MG 1000E but not slot 10 that is too small in that kind of shelf.
SSC is using slot 0. Right.

Hi all.
A user from our White Plains office places a call to a '917' number (for eg.) and the call is then routed to our Manhattan office.....the caller i.d., however, is only posting the last 4 digits or the callers number?! We have a CS1000M System.
