We changed our datacenter over from /16 to /24 over the weekend. I opened a ticket with support on where/how to change the subnet for our signaling server and related components but it looks like more needs to be done.

From what I can see, there are 3 IPs outside of the embedded LAN that touch the rest of the network X.X.X.20, X.X.X.21, X.X.X.22

.20 is the "Base OS element" - I updated the subnet and gateway on this, per support's instruction.

If I go into the element manager, under System - IP Network - Nodes: Servers, Media Card there is a node with 2 components - this is IP X.X.X.21

If I click into that node, there is a media card with the IP X.X.X.22

When I try to update the IP/Subnet/gateway for .21 and then .22, it displays that I need to sync the config between the nodes. It runs fine on the signaling server, but fails on the Media Card (.22).

How should I be properly updating the subnet/gateway on these components? I'm sure I'm leaving out all sorts of info, so please ask away.

I have never successfully made an IP address change on a linux based signal server with any luck. Always have had to reinstall the linux.
