CS1000E One-way Audio for Only One Number

We have a CS1000E, Rls 5.0 and the agents have been dialing out to a vendor in the 718 area code. However, the vendor recently switched to a new PBX platform, and since then, we get one-way audio to them (our agents can here them, they cannot hear us).

It is only on the CS1000E we are getting this. We have other PBXs (Siemens, CS1000S) that it continues to work just fine.

Any ideas on what would cause our Nortel to get one-way audio when we didn't change anything, but the far end did? And why would it work on our other PBXs or from a cell phone?

I'd say its the long distance carrier and not anything to do with the hardware of the system.

We went and changed two T1s into a new route with the DSEL of 3VCE instead of VOD (as in the route above) and made test calls, voila!!!

Test calls were made and two-way speech path.

Tman45 found this on another thread that the VOD trunk type could affect calls in weird ways... Kudos to him!
