I've inherited a Nortel CS1000E rev5 at another company we bought, so I'm a little new here. I've been tasked with integrating Avaya Modular Messaging via QSIG T1. I'm using a Dialogic 480JCT/2T1, but only one span.
Overall the integration works fine except when a call hunts from the first SCR to the second SCR. The second SCR on everybody's phone is a fictious, unpublished extension (the primary DN plus a "5" prepended to the front). It's setup this way so an incoming call doesn't flash two buttons at the same time. Guess that was too confusing for people.
Anyway, if the first SCR is in-use, when the call hunts to the second SCR and then to MM, the PBX is prepending the location code to the digits sent to MM instead of sending only the primary DN. I've looked all over the Avaya integration notes and don't see anything I've missed. I have all of the options that I need and, like I said, the integration works as long as the call is from the primary SCR (i.e. the phone is completely idle).
Any thoughts? I can send a config prt for whatever you need.
