Quick question guys - I’ve just purchased an updated key code (software key code on a floppy) to increase the amount of ACD agents we can use.

Can I used the normal LD 143 route to initialise this new code or does the LD 143 method only apply to small systems?

Reason I ask is I can't put my hand on a document in Helmsman that covers it. Could just be me not seeing the wood for the trees of course...

Cheers

Richard

Excellent !

Ok - the question is how do we get the keycode file uploaded to the Call Server then? When we had the CS1000S we used to just connect up to the CS and Xmodem the file there etc. Now that we have the MRV in place that's not so easy. In anticipation of the upgrade I've already FTP'd the file to the faceplate Compact Flash card ( /cf2 ). Can I just instead upload the file to the right directory on the CS hard disk and give it the right file name ?

Thanks again John.

Best regards,

Richard

Large Switch, you'll have to put the floppy in the Door..Pardon the expression - Story of my life really!!

It's a CS1000E P4 system, so no floppy drive :-(

All sorted...

I FTP'd the new keycode file directly to the compact flash card in the front panel under a folder called 'keycode'.

Then just issued 'knew rmd' in ld 143 and it fired it straight in !

Thanks again guys.
