Good Morning, we have a CS1Ke running a CPMGS on 7.5. 4 MG1010 cabinets with no IP telephony, all TDM sets.

We found that the backups to the USB were failing and replacing the USB drive did no good, they still failed. I accessed PDT and by simply entering the "help" command, my TTY port has been hosed since.

I attempted to access UCM and I eventually get the login page but after logging in, the web page just spins and I never get the menu. I confirmed I can Putty to the Linux Base and get logged in.

If I issue the reboot command from Linux Base, won't that only reboot the Signaling Server and not affect the Call Server? Any thoughts or recommendations are welcome.

It will reboot everything since it is CoRes. All applications run on the Linux in a CoRes environment.

My guess is your USB is not formatted correctly or you have a bad cpmgs card.

The archive failure messaage states no archives were completed since April 7. We tried both USB sticks and both fail. They both look fine in a PC. Hopefully a reboot of the card will fix all issues.

Unfortunately formatting them or using them in a PC is not the same as being able to write to them on a CPMGS card. There is a specific format process for those sticks.

In your experience, after rebooting the system by the reboot command in Linux Base, does the system typically come back up without issue? Do you ever have one belly up?

I have never had one go belly up on a reboot. I put several of these CPMGS cards in Arkansas and they worked pretty good. Early on their was some kind of recall on the cards but I cant remember the details.

FYI, we rebooted by the command reboot -1 in Linux Base and everything came up and worked fine, including USB backups.
