I'm installing a couple of CPMGs as member servers on a 7.5 system
I've pre-deployed the apps from the deployment server (primary UCM) and committed the apps. When I clich the radio button for eithe server and choose Deployment Actions, no options are available. What am I missing? I can click the server name and log onto the backup servers.

I guess my first question would be why are you using CPMG's for member server's? The CPMG is for Call Server, Signal server and MGC all in one applications. If you are just adding signal servers you should be using CPPM's I would think. Or COTS servers. What applications are you trying to deploy on them? Just Signal Server?

The CPMGs will be alternate CS and sig servers for their respective locations.

So you are using Geographic redundancy? Or High availability?

It is co-res. The MG portion is working properly, registered to the primary CS.

So have you loaded the linux on the CPMG? Have you done the security config and told it it is a member server? Have you loaded the 3 base patches. Have you installed the SP? Is it showing up in your UCM?

I have loaded the Linnux BAse sw, the three preliminary patches, and the latest sp. I have also done the security configuration and set them up as members.

In 7.5 you aren't to put the service pack in until after deployment.

They servers are showing up in Deployment Mgr where I have added the apps and committed. They also are showing up in UCM elements list. There I can clich the server and access its base manager. None of the apps, such as the alternate site EMs, are showing up in the network view. I tried to deploy before loading the SP but when I didn't get the options, I thought maybe it was because they had a different version of some apps so I went ahead and added the SP to make them the same.

I wonder if your nai file is still there? I still think you should reload the linux, install the 3 base patches, deploy and then put in the SP. I dont think the SP will work properly if you do it before deployment. That is what Avaya has told me anyway. What apps are you trying to deploy? I would think all you would want would be Call Server and Signal Server.

I'm trying to deplo EM, CS, and SS. I'm going to try a reboot of both servers before reloading.
